Lefadi Makibinyane will succeed Graham Pirie as CEO of Consulting Engineers South Africa (Cesa) on July 8.

Pirie last month announced his resignation after 17 years as the head of the organisation.

According to the website of the Gauteng Partnership Fund, on whose board he served, Makibinyane would join Cesa from the City of Tshwane, where he occupied the position of strategic executive director of the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure Development.

He is an accredited professional engineer and chartered engineer, with an Honours degree in Chemical Engineering and a Masters in Business Leadership.
