Bahia, in north-eastern Brazil.

Project Description
The project entails the construction of a 519 MW wind farm comprising ten wind farms with a total of 91 turbines.

The facility will generate almost 2.3 TWh/y of renewable energy, enough to supply 1.17-million Brazilian homes.

Potential Job Creation
The project is expected to create up to 1 200 jobs during construction.

Capital Expenditure
The project will require an investment of about NKr4.2-billion.

Planned Start/End Date
Construction will start in January 2021, with the first wind turbines expected to start operation in September 2022. Completion of the wind farm is scheduled for June 2023.
