Van’s Auctioneers will host a number of auctions during next week and before the June school holidays. Buyers should be on the lookout for these quality assets that will come under the hammer!

On Tuesday, 11 June at 11h00 a property that is used as the well-known Alpha Hardware Centre in Fochville will be offered. All the stock, hardware, paint, and goodwill will be offered as one lot as Lot 1, and after that the immovable property will be presented as Lot 2. This property measures just below 1000m² and the improvements are about 650m². It is zoned for Business purposes and features three shop areas, entrances, bathrooms and so forth. These first two lots will then be offered together, and lastly another property which is used as a sand yard will come under the hammer.

Farmers, especially in the Free State, should pay careful attention to the Bainsvlei farms (near Bloemfontein) which will be auctioned off on Wednesday, 12 June at 11h00.  The farms Donkerhoek and Harrowgate will be offered as a unit together, and jointly measure just below 1100 hectares. The farms provide about 570 hectares of grazing lands and about 250 hectares dry lands. A further 240 hectares of irrigable lands have eight circles with four pivots on them.
