Project Description
The contract entails the design and construction supervision of the relocation of underground transmission and distribution cabling networks, as well as the construction of numerous 11 kV substations in Bahrain.

This project will support the Ministry of Works’ upgrades of the Sheikh Jaber bin Ahmed Al Subah avenue, the Sitra causeway, the Al Estiglal highway, the King Hamad highway and other minor roads and avenues within the limits of the roads contract.

Latest Developments
SNC-Lavalin has been awarded a contract by the ETD for the design and construction supervision of the project.

It will design and supervise the diversions of several 220 kV and 66 kV power cables circuits, including pilot and fibre-optic telecommunication and telecontrol cabling.
