Intermediate gold company SSR Mining has reported the resignation of two board directors. Beverlee Park and Elizabeth Wademan, both directors of SSR prior to the merger with Alacer Gold, have handed in their resignations.

SSR chairperson Mike Anglin thanked Park and Wademan for their years of service on the board and for their respective roles in the integration of the merger with Alacer.

Following the resignations, SSR’s board will be comprised of eight directors and the company says that it will continue to evaluate the composition and size of the board.

SSR has four producing assets in the US, Turkey, Canada and Argentina, as well as development and exploration assets in the US, Turkey, Mexico, Peru and Canada.
