Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) has appointed Pamela Yoyo as Cape Town Terminals (CTT) terminal manager, following the promotion of former CTT terminal manager Brenda Magqwaka to TPT KwaZulu-Natal GM of containers.

Yoyo would provide strategic guidance on operations and overall administration of the terminals.

She started working for TPT as a human resources manager at the Richards Bay dry bulk terminal in 2004 and had since worked in this position at various TPT terminals, including the Durban container terminal and the Cape Town container terminal.

She moved into operations management in 2009 as a trainee operations manager and “climbed the ranks” to chief operations manager at the Cape Town container terminal.

Yoyo holds a BTech in human resource management from Technikon South Africa, a BA degree in maritime studies and an M degree in transport and logistics management, both from Stellenbosch University.
