CEG and ESP – part of Invicta Holdings Limited - have made a donation to the Manger Care Centre (MCC) as part of the Group’s commitment to developing meaningful and sustainable social responsibility initiatives.

“Our team is pleased to be able to assist a deserving organisation in our area, that does admirable work to uplift the lives of so many people in need,” says Graham Forte, Chief Executive Officer of Capital Equipment Group (CEG). “The MCC relies on donations to create a caring environment to help and empower vulnerable and destitute people in our community, making sure they feel that they are valuable and worthy members of society.

“Our passion for skills upliftment goes back many years and through our Corporate Social Investment (CSI) programme, we are happy to be able to support organisations that help make the world a better, kinder place.

“The MCC's vision, mission and values echo a compassionate and inclusive approach to tackling social issues and empowering marginalised communities. Overseeing projects that furnish vital resources like food, clothing and shelter, alongside providing rehabilitation services and avenues for skill enhancement, underscores a commitment to addressing both immediate necessities and long-term empowerment. The incorporation of psychosocial, health, and spiritual support underscores a holistic perspective on well-being.”

The MCC’s emphasis on skill development - encompassing agricultural skills, baking, horticulture and manufacturing of greenhouse tunnels - not only imparts practical proficiencies, but also instills a sense of pride and self-reliance.

Emerging farmers at the MCC are responsible for the care of sheep, pigs and scavenger chickens and the baling of grass for their feed. AgriSETA accredited agricultural training courses assist with mainstream employment or the establishment of self-sustainable agricultural enterprises.

Invicta Holdings Limited, with a firm commitment to human rights, workplace, community and societal issues, aligns with the philosophy of Manger Care Centre: “Stop! Help! You Make the Difference.”

CEG – comprising HPE Africa, Develon, Criterion Equipment and Shamrock Handling Concepts – supplies and supports an extensive range of quality branded mining, construction and material handling equipment, through its national branch and distributor network. Equipment Spare Parts Africa (ESP) specialises in the procurement and distribution of high-quality aftermarket and replacement parts for earthmoving machines and heavy duty diesel engine parts.
