The Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) has produced a coffee-table-style handbook, titled Decades of Engineering Excellence, which offers a colourful glimpse into South Africa’s engineering prowess.
The 200-page hardcover has been compiled and edited by du Toit Grobler, himself a professional engineer, and has been published by Chris van Rensburg Publications. This handbook seeks to highlight some of the achievements in the various engineering disciplines.
This handbook also serves as a source of information for those considering pursuing engineering as a career, which is why it contains contact details for organisations associated with the profession.
Public Works Minister Thulas Nxesi has endorsed this prestige handbook and has emphasised the impact of engineering on the daily lives of South African citizens, from the provision of water, power and transport systems, through to communication networks, educational and healthcare facilities.
This masterpiece Decades of Engineering Excellence Handbook is now available at ECSA offices for R600.00 including VAT, this price excludes packaging and courier cost, so please indicate your area of location should you need us to post the handbook to you.
The costs will then be added on the invoice which will be sent to you for payment. Upon receipt of the proof of payment, your parcel can be sent to you at the earliest convenience.
