JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – ASX-listed exploration company Rumble Resources has been awarded up to A$150 000 in co-funding from the Western Australian government’s Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS).

The company would leverage the funding to drill test the 2.2-km-long airborne electromagnetic conductor at the Kaos project, east of Newman.

The EIS is an initiative by the Western Australian government to encourage drilling by companies in greenfield regions of the state.

Kaos forms part of Rumble’s 766 km2 Beadell project, which is host to several deposits, including the Telfer gold mine, the Nifty copper mine, and the Kintyre uranium deposit.

Rumble considered the Beadell project to be prospective for sediment-hosted base-metal deposits.
