Mobile operator MTN on Tuesday announced that MTN Uganda CEO Mazen Mroue has been appointed as the new COO of MTN Irancell, replacing Ferdi Moolman who would become MTN Nigeria’s CFO.

Mroue would be succeeded in Uganda by MTN South Africa chief marketing officer Brian Gouldie.

“We are delighted that we are able to fill these executive management positions from within our leadership ranks, in line with our leadership development strategy,” MTN group president and CEO Sifiso Dabengwa said.
