Growthpoint, Tricolt share first look at Olympus construction site
Growthpoint, Tricolt share first look at Olympus construction site
From Creamer Media in Johannesburg, this is the Real Economy Report.
Sashnee Moodley:
Property developers Growthpoint Properties and Tricolt Group last month started construction on an 81 200 m2 residential and retail development called Olympus, in Sandton, that will contain 527 high-end apartments. Marleny Arnoldi visited the site.
Marleny Arnoldi:
Olympus will comprise two towers called Athena and Apollo, reaching 24 and 20 storeys high, respectively. Growthpoint anticipates to complete construction by early 2028.
The apartments range from studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and penthouse size, and are already 85% sold out.
The Olympus hospitality-led development will also feature 30 rooms for a boutique Marble Group hotel, an exclusive restaurant, a sky bar with private dining, resort-style leisure facilities, landscaped sky gardens and a street level Pantry offering by Marble that comprises a deli and coffee.
Tricolt chairperson Tim Kloeck tells us more about the development and the expected residents.

Marleny Arnoldi:
Initially the development would have been staged across phases for the two towers, but owing to high demand the construction of both towers is proceeding for completion at the same time.
In keeping with modern green building practices, Kloeck tells us more about the environment-conscious elements in the Olympus design and the importance of partnerships to realise large-scale projects such as this.
