The project aims to study strategies for maximising opportunities to establish a green hydrogen economy in Trinidad and Tobago, undertaking supply and demand dynamics for green hydrogen generation, transportation and end-use applications.
The study will further identify prospects for the development of a low carbon economy, with a roadmap to net zero through technological innovation. It will also evaluate the potential for green hydrogen production and the repurposing of the existing facilities for low carbon hydrogen.
The assessment will include recommendations for a technical implementation plan.
