Goodyear South Africa appoints new MD

Goodyear South Africa has appointed Darren Hayes-Powell MD, effective November 1.

He will succeed current MD Jean-Jacques Wiroth, who will be embarking on a new assignment at Goodyear in Europe.

"I am confident that this is the right time for me to exit the Goodyear South Africa operations as it is well equipped with the necessary tools to continue as a key player in the market. My successor brings a wealth of experience to the region,” Wiroth said in a statement on Friday.
