The new complex will be built in Ain El Sokhna, about 100 km south-east of Cairo, in Egypt, close to the existing El Nasr Company for Intermediate Chemicals (NCIC) phosphatic and compound fertiliser complex.

The project entails the development of a ferti­liser complex with a capacity to produce up to 440 000 t/y of ammonia, 380 000 t/y of urea and 300 000 t/y of calcium ammonium nitrate.
