The project will be located in Mpumalanga, South Africa.

Project Description
Pan African has approved the development of a 10 MW solar PV project at its Elikhulu operations.

The project will initially provide up to 30% of Elikhulu’s yearly power requirements and aims to reduce the operations dependence on the national power grid while reducing exposure to above-inflation yearly power cost increases.

The project is expected to create job opportunities in local communities.

Latest Developments
The engineering, procurement and construction contract has been awarded to an independent contractor and the group is now finalising the necessary legal and contractual agreements, as well as raising dedicated financing for the project.
