Company Announcement - Miners who are researching efficient mining techniques and optimisation of operating costs are attending the In-Pit Crushing and Conveying Conference (IPCC 2014) in Johannesburg this week. The Deswik team will be present to showcase the latest advances for planning continuous mass mining operations.

Since 2013, Deswik has been working in partnership with RWE Power International to deliver the world’s first commercially available software for planning of Continuous Mass Mining techniques. Deswik Regional Manager for South America, Marc Johnson, will take the stage at IPCC 2014 to present practical, innovative techniques for modelling combined IPCC and truck haulage in a single plan. Deswik’s participation to IPCC 2014 follows on a successful Deswik Africa Open Day last week, where the company unveiled a new branding and product road map to over 200 clients and users.
