Datacentrix posts higher FY earnings

JSE-listed Datacentrix on Monday posted double-digit increases across the board for the year ended February 29.

The information and communication technology solutions provider recorded an 18.5% jump in headline earnings a share to 62.8c and an 18.9% increase in earnings a share to 62.9c for the 12 months under review.

The group’s operating margin for the year under review was 6.3%.

Earnings attributable to shareholders grew by 19% to R123.2-million, while revenue increased 16% to R2.6-billion.

Datacentrix, which reported cash on hand of R120.5-million by year-end, declared an interim gross cash dividend of 9.23c a share for the first half of the year, but did not declare a dividend for the final six months.
