Project Description
The proposed Bhlaraidh wind farm development, located north-west of Invermoriston, in the Great Glen, comprises 36 wind turbines and ancillary infrastructure, with an installed capacity of up to 108 MW.

The wind farm will include:
• 36 turbines, with external transformers;
• hardstanding (crushed stone) area at each turbine base, with a maximum area of 1 800 m2;
• two permanent meteorological masts;
• site substation and control buildings, with parking and welfare facilities;
• on-site access tracks, with associated watercourse crossings, of which 23.4 km are new access;
• tracks and 6.6 km are upgrades to existing tracks; and
• on-site underground cabling.
