Name of the Project
Arapua remineraliser project.

Location
Brazil.

Project Owner/s
Harvest Minerals.

Project Description
Harvest produces KPFértil, a multinutrient direct application natural remineraliser, at its Arapua project.

The project entails the significant expansion of the project.

The project will include four additional knife mills, conveyor belts and supporting structures.

The new knife mills will act as secondary mills fed from the current primary mill to create one processing line with a planned capacity of up to 400 000 t/y.

The expansion creates one production line, with additional production lines to be added as required.

Potential Job Creation
Not stated.

All-in Sustaining Costs/All-in Costs
Not stated.

Net Present Value/Internal Rate of Return
Not stated.

Latest Developments
Harvest Minerals has been granted the final permit required to mine and process KPFretil at the Arapua fertiliser project.

With the granting of the Concessão de Lavra, or full mining permit, Harvest now has the full tenure over the asset.

In November, the Brazilian Environmental Department issued Harvest a full environmental permit, enabling Harvest to mine and process up to 400 000 t/y of ore. This is above the current processing capacity, but the environmental permit capacity and production capacity can be increased as demand requires.

Under the terms of the mineral rights transfer agreement, Harvest has to make a $1-million payment to the original vendors of the project.

Key Contracts and Suppliers
None stated.
