JSE-listed information technology firm Ansys on Wednesday said its revenue for the financial year to February 28 had increased from R65.8-million to more than R230-million.

This was owing to the inclusion of the full year results of the newly acquired Tedaka Technologies subsidiary, the successful implementation of the group’s turnaround strategy and the roll-out of certain rail projects.

Ansys recorded headline earnings a share and earnings a share of 3c, an improvement of at least 180% on the 3.58c loss a share reported for the prior financial year.

The group expected to publish its financial results at the end of May.
