Nedbank Corporate And Investment Banking

Nedbank Corporate and Investment Banking is the corporate and investment banking division of Nedbank Group, one of South Africa's four largest banking groups. The division provides a comprehensive range of financial services to corporate clients, institutional investors, public-sector entities and high-net-worth individuals across Africa and selected international markets. Its core offerings include corporate banking, investment banking, transactional banking, structured finance, debt and equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions advisory, and specialised sector financing. Nedbank Corporate and Investment Banking operates primarily from its headquarters in Johannesburg, with a presence in key African financial centres and representative offices in London and other international hubs. The division serves clients across multiple sectors including mining, energy, infrastructure, telecommunications, property and manufacturing. It plays a significant role in financing large-scale projects and transactions in the South African and broader African markets, including mining ventures, infrastructure development and corporate restructurings. The division is a key revenue contributor to Nedbank Group, which is listed on the JSE and majority-owned by Old Mutual. Nedbank Corporate and Investment Banking has built a reputation for sector expertise and long-standing client relationships, particularly in resource-intensive industries. The division has been part of Nedbank's evolution since the group's formation through various mergers and acquisitions in the South African banking sector over recent decades.
