Cape Town International Convention Centre

Cape Town International Convention Centre is a major conference and exhibition facility located in Cape Town, South Africa. The centre sits in the city's central business district, adjacent to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and the harbour precinct. It comprises two buildings – CTICC 1 and CTICC 2 – offering a combined total of more than 60 000 m² of flexible event space, including multiple conference halls, exhibition areas, meeting rooms and banqueting facilities. The venue is designed to host large-scale international conferences, trade shows, corporate events and exhibitions, with capacity for thousands of delegates. It is equipped with modern audiovisual technology, simultaneous interpretation facilities and high-speed connectivity. The centre is owned by the City of Cape Town and operated by a dedicated management company. It plays a significant role in South Africa's business tourism and meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) sector, attracting events from across Africa and internationally. Major gatherings hosted at the facility have included African Union summits, energy and infrastructure conferences, and industry expos. The original CTICC 1 building opened in 2003, and the expansion CTICC 2 was completed in 2017, doubling the venue's capacity and reinforcing Cape Town's position as a leading African conference destination.
