President Jacob Zuma has reappointed Competition Tribunal chairperson Norman Manoim for a second five-year term, from August 1, 2014, to July 31, 2019, the Presidency said in a statement on Monday.

Manoim, who was first appointed as chairperson in 2009, was also reappointed as a full-time member of the tribunal.

Zuma had also reappointed Andrea Wessels and Yasmin Carrim as full-time members and Andiswa Ndoni and Medi Mokuena as part-time members for the five-year period.

Further, he also appointed Mondo Mazwai as a full-time member of the tribunal for the five-year period.

"We wish all the members of the Competition Tribunal all the best in this critical endeavour,” Zuma said.
