The project will be located at the Lusaka South Multi-Facility Economic Zone (LS-MFEZ), in Zambia.

Enel Green Power.

Project Description
The project involves the construction of a 34 MWp solar PV power plant. The plant will cover 50.2 ha and will require about 105 000 tracker modules and 28 inverters. The proposed PV system will be connected to the grid and the electrical energy will be evacuated through the LS-MFEZ substation by a 33 kV underground cable. The project will operate under a 25-year power purchase agreement signed with State-owned power utility Zesco.

The project is expected to create about 100 jobs during construction.
