The ZA Central Registry  (0.02 MB)

The ZA Central Registry's (ZACR's) "Summer In Your City" promotion is set to cap a successful year for South Africa's three biggest cities.

Cape Town is now featured at the top of the latest Prime Global Cities Index, the Commonwealth Games Federation has reaffirmed its commitment to Durban hosting the 2022 Games, and Johannesburg recently announced plans to fund R2.5 billion of infrastructure programmes.

The sale is from 07 November 2016 (00h00 AM (SAST)) until 7 January 2017 (23H59 PM (SAST) and means newly-registered .capetown ('dotCapeTown'), .joburg ('dotJoburg') and .durban ('dotDurban') domains will cost the same as co.za domains.

Anyone with a particular affinity for Johannesburg, Cape Town or Durban can now pay less to register a ZAdotCities domain with accredited registrars and resellers.

There are currently some 11 000 ZAdotCity domains that have been registered by the ZACR and its registrar partners since the first dotCapeTown, dotDurban and dotJoburg domains were made available for public registration in July 2014.

The wholesale prices and terms & conditions for ZACR resellers are available here: www.registry.net.za

For ease of reference, the sale price applies to newly-created dotCity registrations with renewals at the usual rates. Premium names are  not included in the ZACR summer promotion.

The dotCapeTown, dotJoburg and dotDurban domain names appeal to national pride, help boost SEO (search engine optimisation) rankings and enables both individual and organisational brands stand out from the worldwide web clutter.
