Project Description
The Winton solar farm will produce energy to supply more than 52 000 Australian homes while avoiding the emission of 150 000 t/y of carbon dioxide a year. The project involves the construction of a 85 MWac wind farm on 250 ha.
The plant will be connected to the National Electricity Market generating about 210 000 MWh/y of clean energy.
