PERTH (miningweekly.com) – ASX-listed junior White Cliff Minerals has reported a maiden copper and gold resource at its Chanach project, in Kyrgyz Republic.

A maiden inferred resource of 1.15-million tonnes, grading 4.2 g/t gold, for 156 000 oz of gold was estimated at the Aucu gold deposit, while the Chanach copper deposit was estimated to host an inferred resource of 10-million tonnes, at 0.41% copper, for 40 000 t of contained copper.

White Cliff noted on Thursday that the Aucu mineral resource was based on 24 reverse circulation (RC) drill holes, while the Chanach copper resource was based on 25 RC and diamond drill holes.

The project covers some 83 km2.
