A new Vector Network Analyser (VNA) has been launched, with the aim of adding to the selection of test equipment that engineers, developers and schools can use to assemble a well-equipped test bench efficiently, reliably and cost-effectively.

A VNA measures resistance of a radio frequency or microwave circuit at their operating frequency, measuring both the resistance and the phase of the circuit.

Teledyne LeCroy announced the further development of its Teledyne Test Tools- (T3-) branded portfolio of test equipment with the launch of the T3VNA1500 VNA.

The company states that the introduction of the VNA expands its portfolio and aims to provide customers with greater access to a growing set of complementary test bench solutions.

The 9 kHz to 1.5 GHz VNA solution incorporates many features, including:

  • Spectrum analysis capability
  • A distance to fault option
  • A calibration and utility kit

In addition, the solution is supported by the company’s technical experts and its customer care organisation.

The company explains that its T3 branded portfolio was created to meet the product-design needs of customers across a range of industries such as mobile, automotive, communications, defence and manufacturing.

Through strategic collaborations with original equipment manufacturer technology partners, the company states that it will continue to launch an ongoing series of new product solutions under the brand, in order to deliver a range of test solutions and functionalities to enable speed-to-market, product validation and design innovation.
