Project Description
The development is the fifth project on Guyana’s offshore Stabroek block and is expected to add about 250 000 bbl/d of oil to ExxonMobil’s capacity.
The project plans to include up to ten drill centres and 44 production and injection wells aimed at developing an estimated resource of more than 800-million barrels of oil.
It will also comprise a floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel, which will be called the Errea Wittu.

ExxonMobil made a final investment decision for the Uaru development in April 2023, after receiving the required government and regulatory approvals.
