Project Description
The project involves the development of a multipurpose terminal on the southern side of the Tuxpan river, which includes the construction of a 560-m-long and 42-m-wide quay; the installation of four Super Post-Panamax ship-to-shore cranes, eight automatic stacking cranes and other terminal handling equipment; and the construction of a 13 ha container yard.
The terminal will have an initial throughput capacity of 576 000 twenty-foot equivalent container units a year.

The project is estimated at $368-million.
