The wind farm is planned to be installed 45 km north of the island Borkum, in the German North Sea.

Project Description
The project involves the development of a 203 MW wind farm. 

TWBII offshore wind farm will consist of 32 turbines installed in water 25 m to 35 m deep. 

The wind farm will produce an estimated 800-million kilowatt hours of electricity every year, enough to supply an estimated 210 000 households a year.

The installation of the turbine components is planned for spring 2019.

Latest Developments
Senvion announced in May that the contract for the TWBII had been concluded and was effective.

The notice to proceed was confirmed at the end of April.
