Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) has appointed Noxolo Thabatha terminal manager of the Ngqura Container Terminal (NCT), in the Eastern Cape.

She joined TPT as planning technician at NCT in 2009 and has worked in a planning and logistics environment contributing to the performance success of the terminal, in particular with a focus on customer service and operational key performance indicators.

She was promoted to chief planning manager in 2013 and then acting NCT terminal manager last year.

Thabatha holds a number of academic and training qualifications, including Port Logistics – APEC (Belgium), Port Operations Planning from the Hamburg Port Training Institute, and Leadership and Management qualifications obtained at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University.
