Project Description
The project involves the development of a single-train, 300 000 t/y plant to produce TDI and includes the expansion of additional plants as precursors for polyurethanes at BASF’s site at Ludwigshafen.

Value
Total investment, including the required infrastructure at the Ludwigshafen site, will be about €1-billion.

Duration
Production is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2014.
