The Tiwi H2 project is an integrated, compressed green hydrogen production and export development, producing up to 100 000 t/y of green hydrogen for export into the Asia Pacific region.

The project is estimated to create 500 jobs during construction and 100 positions once operational. The project has a life span of 30 years.
Capital Expenditure
The project is estimated at A$4.5-billion.
Planned Start/End Date
Production is targeted for early 2027.
Latest Developments
The project was endorsed by Northern Territory government in August 2022 by granting it major project status.
