The Samsung Man’s Path to Success: Turning crisis into breakthrough – Sung Yoon
Sung Yoon discusses his book 'The Samsung Man’s Path to Success: Turning crisis into breakthrough' (Camera: Shadwyn Dickinson; Editing: Darlene Creamer)
Former President and CEO of Samsung Africa, Sung Yoon is a firsthand witness to Samsung’s remarkable journey to becoming a global world-leading brand. Over his 32-year career in sales with Samsung Electronics, he contributed in numerous capacities, heading up sales over three different overseas assignments and successfully spearheading the development of the Africa business over four years in the face of countless challenges.
In The Samsung’s Man’s Rules for Success, Yoon offers keen insights that shed light on the challenges of making sound business decisions, taking calculated risks, undertaking the journey of taking a top brand forward and into new territories – both in terms of product, sales and marketing and in terms of new markets – and how Samsung successfully fosters a healthy, robust and infinitely creative culture within the business environment.
