Energy technology company Sungrow is showcasing its latest battery energy storage solutions at the Africa Energy Forum (AEF) in Cape Town.

The company says its offering extends beyond equipment supply, combining technology with project delivery capabilities designed to support developers and EPC contractors. Sungrow emphasised the bankability of its battery energy storage systems, noting that the technologies have undergone the independent assessments typically required by development finance institutions and commercial lenders.

The company also pointed to its local inventory and logistics infrastructure in South Africa, which helps provide delivery certainty for projects. In addition, Sungrow is presenting energy storage solutions designed for demanding operating environments, including mining applications.
