Project Description
The project involves the design and development of the second phase of Star City, a residential estate featuring 4 980 apartments, car parks and communal facilities located along the Bago river on the outskirts of Yangon, in Myanmar.
The second phase of the development will include the engineering and construction of three blocks of eight-storey buildings and two blocks of 12-storey buildings, totalling 114 000 m2 of gross floor and associated infrastructure.

The contract is valued at €74-million.
Duration
Work was planned to start at the end of April and the project is due to be completed in 33 months.
Latest Developments
Dragages Singapore, a subsidiary of Bouygues Construction, in joint venture with SPA Project Management, has been awarded the contract by Thanlyin Estate Development to design and build the second phase of Star City.
The construction project is subject to final approval by the Myanmar Government.
