Project Description
EGPE has been awarded a contract for 540 MW of wind power capacity in Spain, following a tender launched by the Spanish government for 3 000 MW of renewable energies. 

Government hopes to achieve its target to cover 20% of energy consumption from renewables by 2020.

Once operational, the wind facilities will generate an estimated 1 750 GWh/y, while preventing the emission of about 1.05-million tonnes of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
