Project Description
The project involves the construction of Myanmar’s first solar power plant, with an installed capacity of 210 MW to produce up to 350-million kilowatt-hours.

The project will be developed in three phases of 50 MW, 70 MW and 90 MW.

The plant will be the third-largest solar power plant in the world.

Value
$275-million.

Duration
The plant is expected to be completed in 18 months after the power purchase agreement (PPA) has been signed.

Latest Developments
Green Earth Power (Thailand) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Myanmar’s Ministry of Energy to develop the power plant.

The company is expected to sign the PPA with the Ministry within 90 days.
