The project is located in Oliveira dos Brejinhos, in the Brazilian state of Bahia.

Project Owner/s
Essentia Energia.

Project Description
The bifacial PV plant will be one of the biggest solar plants in Latin America, occupying an area equivalent to 700 football fields.

The project will comprise more than one-million bifacial panels, which capture the solar irradiance of both sides of the panel.

Once fully operational, the plant will be able to generate 1.15 GWh/y of clean energy, which will be entirely intended for the free market.
