Project Description
The project involves the development of an LBT at Sokhna port’s Basin 3, which will include:
• three gas oil tanks, with a total capacity of 100 000 m3;
• three liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tanks, with a total capacity of 150 000 m3;
• a 4.3 km LPG pipeline;
• a 37.5 km gas oil pipeline connecting to the national grid through Mina Sadat; and
• related infrastructure.

The LBT will also berth the first floating storage and regasification unit, with a storage capacity of 170 000 m3.
