Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV), a subsidiary of Abdul Latif Jameel Energy.
Project Description
The San Serván PV plant will have a capacity of 138 MW dc and will generate about 291 GWh/y of clean energy.
Potential Job Creation
In partnership with the Town Council of Solana de los Barros, FRV has established an initiative to increase local employment opportunities by organising technical training on the assembly and maintenance of PV solar installations.
Capital Expenditure
€64-million.
Planned Start/End Date
The project is expected to be fully operational by 2022.
Latest Developments
The construction and the first two years operation of the plant will be conducted by Grupo Ortiz under an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract.
