The KwaZulu-Natal Nature Conservation Board has invited expressions of interest from the hospitality industry for the development and management of the RNNP Hotel and Conference Centre within the UKnahlamba Drakensberg Park.
The service provider will develop, build and operate the facility as a public–private partnership arrangement with Ezemvelo KwaZulu-Natal Wildlife, which manages the park.
The project will be completed in two phases.
Phase 1 will involve the construction of a visitors centre and conference facility, a conference lodge and chalets, as well as a restaurant.
During Phase 2, the RNNP Hotel will be built.
