Project Description
The project involves the installation of a rooftop PV system for Ceres, which handles more than 110 000 t/y of apples and pears.
The system will supply Ceres’s electrical grid with electricity, mostly for use by the refrigeration compressor rooms during peak season, which comprise more than 100 cold stores. The 4 060 polycrystalline panels are being installed on four north-facing roofs of the company’s coldrooms.
