Niche industrial pumping solution company Verder Pumps South Africa has confirmed that it will be expanding its footprint and network in Namibia and Kenya with two new distribution partners – Aqua Services and Engineering(ASE) in Namibia and Kubtech Engineering Services(KES) based in Nairobi, Kenya – which boast large clientele bases and operations across East Africa.

ASE is a recognised supplier and service partner in the water and wastewater treatment, mining extraction, industrial and hospitality sectors, while KES specialises in process and automation, end-to-end project design and implementation, and procurement of related industrial supplies.

Verder Pumps distribution management representative Reinhard Seidel elaborates: “We are confident these two new distribution partners have the core business offerings, footprint and potential customer base in the geographical areas that they service, bringing not only our high-tech equipment into their markets, but our in-house service and maintenance for quality and performance assurance as well.”

Both partners complement Verder’s comprehensive, fit-for-purpose range of pumping solutions that leverage the advantage of Verder Liquids’ “unwavering tradition of technical excellence and innovation”.

The expansion will help the company further entrench its presence in the pumps market, benefit existing and new customers currently serviced from the company’s Johannesburg headquarters and serve more clients across sub-Saharan Africa.

“Expanding our network of local facilities and distributor partners is an important part of our growth strategy and will enable us to offer our wide range of innovative industrial pumping solutions and leading technological equipment to more customers across the region,” says Seidel.

ASE and KES join Verder’s extensive distribution partner network, including Robday Mining Supplies in Rustenburg, Lydenburg and Steelpoort, Northfield Engineering for the Eastern Cape, and Tri-Pump Africa, which operates in Zambia, Ghana, Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

“Our focus remains on the quality and performance of our pumping solutions and technical support services as an integrated offering to the market,” highlights Seidel.

The focus on developments and acquisitions led by the group ensures continuous growth in the original-equipment manufacturer pumps products range and solution offerings, says Seidel.

“As a South African company we are unwavering in our commitment to furthering the growth and development of local industries. Working with local partners who operate as regional and industry specialists is a key component of how we achieve this [growth],” Seidel concludes.
