If only the real and digital ink spilled over who is to blame for Cape Town’s water crisis was rain – then Cape Town’s impending ‘Day Zero’ apocalypse would surely be averted. What’s required now, however, is not scapegoating or recriminations. Instead, citizens of the Mother City are in desperate need of leaders who will inspire them to make the sacrifices needed to stop the taps from running dry in early April.
