Project Description
The project involves the construction of a new deepwater, quay adjacent to the existing deepwater quay and new container stacking yards, which will operationally link with existing facilities.
The design will include the deepening of the existing harbour basin, new buildings, the redevelopment of existing buildings and new utility facilities, such as electrical substations, a main substation building and underground utilities installations.
The upgraded terminal will be capable of handling three-million twenty-foot equivalent container units a year.

Duration
The quay is expected to be completed by the end of 2016.
