Project Description
The Pilgangoora lithium project, in the Pilabara region of Western Australia, has an estimated mineral resource of 25.2-million tons at 1.23% lithium oxide (Li2O).

The plan is to mine and process 830 000 t/y of ore to produce up to 150 000 t/y of spodumene concentrate at +6.0% Li2O.

Value
The capital expenditure for the project’s development, including the processing plant and a 15% allowance for mine infrastructure, is A$96.3-million.

The positive results of the scoping study have enabled Altura to fast-track the development of the lithium project.

A prefeasibility study has been recommended.
