Project Description
The project involves the construction of a 48 000 t tank farm about 8 km from the Port of Tema.
The tank farm will comprise four storage tanks, each with a capacity of 15 000 t, for petrol and gas oil; one tank, with a capacity of 3 000 t for aviation turbine kerosene; and a fully computerised and automated loading gantry, with six loading bays, each with a capacity of 270 m3/h. The project includes the construction of a 3.5 km pipeline from the nearby refinery to the terminal.

The project is estimated at about $30-million.
Duration
Construction of the project started in March 2013 and will be completed by November 2014.
