Ahead of the company’s delisting from the ASX next month, Pensana Rare Earths is considering changing its name to Pensana.

In a statement on January 22, the rare earth oxide producer confirmed that it would be holding a general meeting on February 8 and urged shareholders to vote on the name change.

Pensana also confirmed that the ASX had accepted its application for delisting and that it had resolved to remove the company from the official list, subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions.

The removal will be completed by close of trading on February 24.

The company will, however, maintain its primary listing on the main board of the LSE.

Pensana is developing the Longonjo project, in Angola. The project contains about 4.47-million tonnes of rare earth oxides, including 990 000 t of neodymium and praseodymium.
